Website Privacy Policy

PADO Psychological Wellness, PLLC
Effective and last updated: September 17, 2026

Scope and contact

This policy explains how PADO handles information through padopsychology.com and initial website inquiries. For questions or privacy requests, contact Dr. Yeji Son at yeji@padopsychology.com. You may write in English or Korean.

Clinical records are governed by applicable health privacy laws and PADO’s Notice of Privacy Practices. This website policy does not replace that notice. Our separate Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy explains rights for health-related information covered by Washington’s My Health My Data Act.

Information collected and why

Information you provide. The contact form asks for your first name, last name, email address, and message. Email inquiries include the information you choose to send, such as availability and reasons for seeking services. PADO uses this information to respond, discuss fit, and arrange requested consultations or services. Please keep initial messages brief; do not send detailed clinical records, identification documents, payment-card details, or emergency information through the public form or ordinary email.

Website activity. Squarespace hosts this website and supplies optional analytics. PADO has disabled Squarespace’s visitor Activity Log. Technical service logs and consented analytics may include IP address, browser and device information, pages viewed, referring links, visit times, and approximate location inferred from an IP address. Cookies and similar technologies support website operation, security, and measurement of visits and traffic sources. Reading a resource does not by itself mean that a visitor has the condition discussed.

Spam prevention. The contact form uses Google reCAPTCHA, which processes device and interaction information to distinguish legitimate requests from automated activity. Google’s privacy policy and terms govern its service.

Cookies and choices

The site uses a cookie banner that lets you accept, decline, or manage optional cookies. Squarespace non-essential cookies are restricted until you consent. You can reopen Cookie Preferences to change your selection. PADO has disabled Squarespace’s visitor Activity Log. Necessary cookies support core website functions and remember your choices. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings; some functions may be affected. These choices do not delete information already received by PADO or service providers. Contact us with requests about previously collected information.

This notice describes our practices; viewing it or continuing to browse is not a substitute for affirmative consent where the law requires that consent.

Service providers and disclosures

Squarespace processes website activity and information submitted through its forms. Google provides reCAPTCHA and PADO’s Google Workspace email service. These services receive the information needed for their respective functions. Their own privacy notices also describe their processing.

When you begin care, separate services such as Sessions Health for practice management and Stripe for payment processing may handle information within that workflow. Please use the designated clinical or payment channel rather than sending sensitive information through the public website.

Information may also be disclosed when legally required, in response to valid legal process, or as permitted by applicable law to address security incidents or protect rights and safety. Health information remains subject to the additional restrictions of applicable health privacy laws. Links to other websites lead to services with their own privacy practices.

Retention and security

Retention depends on the information and purpose: responding to inquiries, providing requested services, maintaining required records, and meeting legal obligations. Service providers may maintain logs, backups, and retention schedules of their own. Requests to delete information are subject to applicable rights, legal retention requirements, and exceptions.

No internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure. Contact PADO to arrange an appropriate channel for sensitive information. This website and its contact form are not emergency services.

Your requests

Email yeji@padopsychology.com to ask about access, correction, or deletion of information, or to raise a privacy concern. Describe your request without including clinical details. We may need to verify your identity using information reasonably necessary to protect your privacy. Applicable law determines the rights and exceptions for a particular request; clinical-record requests follow the clinical privacy process.

Updates

PADO will review this policy when website technologies, information-handling practices, or applicable requirements change and revise it as needed. The date above identifies the latest revision. Where required, PADO will provide additional notice and obtain consent before introducing new processing. A posted revision does not itself supply that consent.
