Individual therapy
Therapy — Healing & Growth
For adults navigating trauma, anxiety, burnout, or the weight of living between two worlds. Sessions are available in English and Korean, virtually in Washington State.
Who this is for
Complex trauma survivors
Emotionally immature parents, chronic relational wounds, C-PTSD — the past that still shapes the present
Neurodivergent adults
ADHD, autism, executive functioning — late-diagnosed or undiagnosed, trying to understand how your mind works
High achievers in burnout
Perfectionism, chronic self-doubt, never feeling like enough — no matter how much you accomplish
Highly sensitive people
Easily overwhelmed, deeply empathetic — told you feel too much, or wondering why you feel nothing at all
People with high anxiety
Persistent worry, difficulty functioning in daily tasks, a mind that won't slow down
International professionals
Born and raised elsewhere, now building a life in the US — navigating identity, belonging, and what got left behind
I'm a Korean psychologist and therapist based in Seattle, Washington, offering individual psychotherapy in English and Korean. I specialize in complex trauma (C-PTSD), anxiety, and identity concerns — with a particular focus on immigrants, international professionals, and first- and second-generation adults navigating life between cultures. My approach integrates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Gestalt therapy, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), and trauma-informed care. I also provide neurodivergent-affirming therapy for adults with ADHD and autism, diagnosed late or still figuring it out.

Couples therapy
Couples Therapy
Some couples come because they live between two cultures. Some because one or both partners are neurodivergent. Many are stuck in the same fight, or in the quiet distance that grows over time. I'm trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), an attachment-based approach to couples work. Sessions in English and Korean.
Who this is for
Korean, Korean-American & intercultural couples
Different emotional languages, family expectations, and unspoken rules
Neurodivergent couples
One or both partners with ADHD or autism, sometimes diagnosed late — mismatched rhythms, communication styles, and the exhaustion of being misunderstood
Couples stuck in the same fight
Different topic, same wound. Nothing ever fully resolves
Couples after a rupture
Betrayal, loss, or a moment that changed everything — finding a way back, or forward
I'm a Korean psychologist based in Seattle, offering couples therapy across Washington State. Sessions are virtual, in English and Korean. I'm trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), an attachment-based approach that helps couples identify negative interaction cycles, reconnect emotionally, and build more secure attachment. I often work with intercultural and bicultural couples, including Korean and Korean-American couples, and with neurodivergent couples where ADHD or autism is part of the relationship, whether long-known or newly diagnosed. I also see couples rebuilding trust after betrayal or rupture.

What we work on together
We slow down the cycle — the pursue-withdraw, the silence, the same argument that never ends — and find what's underneath it. Not to assign blame, but to understand what each of you is actually reaching for.

Psychological evaluation
ADHD & Autism Evaluations
Formal ADHD and autism evaluations for adults, including those identifying late after years of managing and masking. Conducted virtually across Washington State, in English and Korean.
I'm a licensed psychologist providing adult ADHD and autism evaluations across Washington State, conducted virtually in English and Korean. Evaluations are neurodivergent-affirming and designed for adults, including late-identified and high-masking adults. The process may include clinical interviews, developmental history, standardized measures, and instruments such as the DIVA-5 for ADHD and the MIGDAS-2 for autism. When the findings support a diagnosis, I make the diagnosis formally and provide a written report.
Adult evaluation
What an evaluation involves
A structured process built around a diagnostic question: clinical interviews, developmental and relevant history, standardized measures, and a feedback session where we walk through the findings together. You leave with a written report, and a formal diagnosis when the evidence supports one. More detail on the process is in the FAQ.

Why Private Pay?
I thought about this a lot before making this decision.
Individual $250 / 55 min · Couples $350 / 75 min · Evaluations by waitlist · Free 15-minute consultation
The truth is, everyone deserves quality care, and I know private pay limits accessibility. That tension doesn't go away. I chose this model so I can maintain a smaller caseload and show up fully — with time to prepare, continue learning, and create resources tailored to your care.
Private-pay therapy allows us to make clinical decisions without insurance-directed treatment requirements or session limits. Your privacy is treated with great care and protected within legal and ethical limits.
A diagnosis is not required solely for private-pay billing. However, if you request a superbill for possible out-of-network reimbursement, it generally includes diagnostic and clinical billing information.
Out-of-network benefits
Using Your Insurance
I can provide a superbill upon request for eligible out-of-network services. A superbill generally includes diagnostic and billing information, my NPI (1891517702), and Washington license number (PSYC.PY.61613007). Reimbursement is determined entirely by your insurance plan and is not guaranteed. Before beginning services, contact your insurer to ask about your out-of-network deductible, allowed amount, coinsurance, reimbursement requirements, and whether the service you are seeking is eligible. See the FAQ for a step-by-step checklist.
